The Community in Clifton

As well as academic activities throughout school life we aim to provide a program for our Pupils which develops their skills and attributes. There are a range of agencies that come into school to provide such experiences.

Assemblies

We are supported by our Local Church groups during assemblies each week. They also provide lessons during school hours to our pupils.

Karate

John comes every Tuesday and Wednesday to teach our Senior Classes Karate!

Archery

Our Pupils enjoy time with Elite Archery each week.

Football with the IFA

Martine from the IFA attends Clifton every Wednesday to teach football to our Senior Classes.

Rich Music

Lauren provides Music Lesson throughout the school.

Cycling

Our pupils are provided with the opportunity to Learn to Cycle. Greg visits us every Wednesday

Pets as Therapy

Heather brings Emily to join class 1s and 3sb every week.

NIPDS

Harry and Mervyn provide Drumming to 1s and 4s every Tuesday.

BALLYMAGEE YOUTH CENTRE

Young people from Clifton Special School are invited to join Ballymagee Youth Club. The Club operates on Thursday evenings from 7pm-9pm.

Membership is for Young People
